The Starlight Express screeched to a halt, stopping just in front of a pair of large gates. Behind those gates, was a large, white castle that stretched far into the sky. When the doors of the train opened and Valkyrie got her first glimpse of this new world, she felt strange. Although she knew that she had never been here before, there was something familar about the castle in front of her. And so, without warning, a sense of foreboding crept up upon her. Glancing back at Josh with a frown on her face, she wondered if he knew anything about this world.
"Gosh..." she whispered, wrapping her arms around herself. Whether or not she could remember, she was almost certain that something bad had happened here... and it was in some part because of her. Shaking her head slightly, she tried to push the ill feeling into the back of her mind, before stretching her arms above her head.
"Sooooooooooo. Josh," she started. "Do you know where we are?"

Despite getting separated temporarily, Josh and Valk had managed to get on the same train. Unfortunately, where it stopped... Josh couldn't sense the Heartless that they had been chasing anywhere. He sighed, crossing his arms as he would gaze around this new world that he had never been to before in his life. And if he had? He didn't remember, for sure.
He looked back at her, and scratched his head. She seemed troubled.... "Is everything alright?" He would first ask before answering her question. "I honestly have no idea. But what I do know is that the Heartless we were pursuing aren't here"

It would seem that her discomfort was so obvious that Josh had picked up on it. Shrugging her shoulders, she tried to nonchalently pass it off. She didn't want Josh involved with whatever was bothering her... mainly because she was afraid of what it was.
"Yeah, it just got really chilly all of a sudden, don'tcha think?" she lied, stuffing her hands down her pockets and attempting a wry smile. "I don't really like being cold, heh." Turning to the gates, she placed her hand on one of the bars, lightly pushing. It gave way rather easily, silently swinging away from her.
Ahead of her was the courtyard of the castle. The Heartless that had caused them to actually arrive here were nowhere to be seen. Sighing, she looked back at Josh.
"Well, after me then~" she quipped, leading the way into the courtyard.

"Uh huh..." He said, narrowing his eyes when he looked back at her. Something about her and this place didn't sit right with Josh. Something told him that she knew more about it then she was letting on. "Right, it's just chilly" He said, rolling his eyes as he would look around this place. It was beautiful but chilling at the same time. He wondered why he felt that chill?
"I'm a pyrokinetic, Valks, how do you think I feel about the cold?" He snarked with a small smirk. It was true, cold didn't sit well with him. He preferred the heat. "Can we go to a beach world or something next?" He joked.
He noticed that she had pushed the gates of the castle courtyard, despite the Heartless being nowhere in sight. And just like that, she had decided to lead the way. Okay, NOW he knew something was up. "You sure as hell know more then you're letting on" He stated flatly as he followed.

Now in the courtyard, Val took another glance around, searching for any signs of Heartless... but in reality, she was keep herself from betraying her thoughts to Josh. She thought she was doing really well, Josh had taken her chilly comment and shot back with his usual snark ; she felt better. Until he suddenly stated that something was going on... with that deadpan voice. Stopping for a moment and sighing, Val turned to him.
"Alright. We don't remember anything, right? Well, this place feels really familar to me, and not in a good way. It's really bugging me." she explained, feeling a small weight lift off of her shoulders. It felt better to voice her feelings, despite her initial reluctance too. While her ill feeling remained, it seemed distant now, easier to ignore. Stretching her arms in front of her, she clicked her fingers.
"Right! Now that you've pulled my little secret out of me, can we take a look around here? I promise we'll go to the beach afterwards! Well... I can't really promise..." she mumbled. Scratching her head, she continued across the courtyard nonetheless, heading for the steps before the castle doors.

Right, she was an amnesiac too. Of course. Next thing you know, she's gonna find out she used to be a villain. A bad girl. A naughty girl, maybe. Or a dominatrix. Either way, she didn't remember a thing, and he supposed that was all he knew he would be able to find out. At least she somehow knew her way around here. That was a start. Josh meanwhile? This place rang no bells or whistles to him whatsoever.
"Right, right" He said, scratching his head. "Yet somehow you know your way around here?" He snarked. "Or are you just guessing, and hoping you don't land us in shit?" He would ask with a slight smirk. "And I don't see why we can't look around. We're stuck here until the next train comes anyway" He said with a casual shrug. He doubted her promise about the beach. I mean... Where the hell WAS the beach?
He would follow along behind her, scanning the area as he did.

"Um..."
Struck by the question, Val scratched her face. She felt like she was just picking a direction and going in it... but maybe. Maybe she was being drawn by something. Or maybe, she was just being ridiculously stupid. Yeah, she'll stick with that for now.
"If we get in shit, that's what you're here for~!" she laughed, running up the castle steps, skipping two at a time. There was no reason for her haste, yet, she wanted to get in the castle and take a look around. Reaching the top of the stairs, she barrelled forward, almost certain that the doors would open before her. As she neared the large double doors in front of her, she kept her two hands open. Still at full speed, she ope- BANG! So, apparently, the door was locked. Which left Val to ram right into the door and plop down onto the floor. Still in daze, she was left with her mouth wide open.
"Whaaaaaaa....?" she groaned.

He couldn't help but roll his eyes when Valk made her response. Really? It seemed full well like the girl was hiding something. "Just who are you, exactly?" He would ask. "Yeah, yeah, I know if we get in shit, I'm here, but... Come on. Do you even know where the hell we're going?" He asked, shaking his head. Valkyrie was a strange one, indeed. Josh just hoped that things wouldn't get too flaky.
Josh couldn't help but let out a sigh as he would run and follow the green-haired chick up the castle steps, keeping up with her. He didn't really understand why the hell she was so hasty, the next train didn't come for quite some time. Maybe she was looking for a hotel or something? He knew they were both tired, they'd spent the night on patrol before finding those Heartless. Once they got to the top, she would barrel forward, with Josh hot on her heels. Of course, Josh was more the wiser and stopped before the door. He had no reason to be hasty, and had reason to be careful.
Looks like it was good he did as Valkyrie would crash right into the door, flopping down to the floor. Josh couldn't help but burst into laughter, falling to his knees and pointing at her as he laughed, hard, in absolute hysterics.
"OH MY GOD, the look on your face!" He said, laughing at her wide-open expression. "Are you... Haha... Are you okay?" He would manage to get out between hysterical laughter. "I guess that's what you get for being so hasty"
